FSIX stands for Free Sandefjord IX and was established since there was a need for a free IX in south east of Norway as an alternative to peering in Oslo. We offer free peering VLANs. Our goal is to provide fast interconnections among our members at no cost in order to improve latency and redundancy while reducing transit costs.
What is peering
Peering is a form of exchanging traffic between networks without reaching each other over a transit connection, therefore reduce transit costs and improve latency.
